CPGPS supported IFATTG2012 held successfully in Liaoning Technical University

The 2012 International Forum on Advanced Theory and Technologies in Geomatics (IFATTG2012) is held successfully in Liaoning Technical University (LNTU), Fuxin, Liaoning Province, China.

The forum was jointly hosted by the International Association of Chinese Professionals in Global Positioning Systems (CPGPS), International Society of Mine Surveying (ISM), International Association of Geodesy (IAG) Sub-Commission "High Precision GNSS", The Geodesy Professional Committee of Chinese Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography (CSGPC), and Liaoning Techniocal University.

More than 400 participants presented in the forum. On the opening ceremony, Vice president of LNTU, Prof. Zhang Zuogang gives a welcome speech and Prof. Yanming Feng, Prof. Higgins, and Prof. Habib give speeches on behalf of CPGPS, United Nations mandated International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems, and The University of Calgary respectively.

Eight invited presentations are given by Prof. Naser El-Sheimy and Prof. Ayman F. Habib from The University of Calgary, Prof. Yanming Feng and Prof. Matt Higgins from Queensland University of Technology, Prof. Hui Lin from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Prof. Peng Fang from University of California San Diego, and Dr. Maorong Ge from Germany Research Centre for Geosciences.
