The 7th CPGPS Forum On Multisensor Integrated Positioning and Navigation (MIPAN'2015)

August 26-28, 2015
Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China

The 7th CPGPS Forum on Multisensor Integrated Positioning and Navigation (MIPAN’2015) will be held on August 26 – 28, 2015 in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China. You are cordially invited to the 7th CPGPS Forum on Multisensor Integrated Positioning and Navigation (MIPAN’2015).

Together with the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), the Direct- Georeferencing (DG) Technology, with multisensor positioning and navigation systems as its core, has revolutionized the way how the geospatial data acquisition is performed using airborne, land, and marine vehicles. Mobile mapping becomes a standard surveying and mapping technique. Since the early 1990s, the DG Technology has been driving more and more advanced research activities and making more and more applications. Especially, as more and more low-cost positioning and orientation sensors commercially become available, more and more opportunities and possibilities have opened to us and advanced researches are highly demanded at the same time.

Hence, the coming 7th CPGPS forum, MIPAN’2015, will mainly focus on multisensor integrated positioning and navigation and also consider other research related to kinematic positioning and navigation such as GNSS at large.

MIPAN’2015 aims at bringing together experts in multisensor integration, inertial navigation, GNSS, mobile mapping, photogrammetry and computer science and engineering, robotic engineering, surveying and various relevant disciplines. Academia, Researchers and Developers, Graduate Students as well as users are invited to present the outcomes of their research and development with presentations and discussions and to take this opportunity to learn about the most recent developments and to exchange views on the future directions of multisensor integrated positioning and navigation in geomatics research, applications. Refer to http://www.icpgps.com/index.html or www.cpgps.org for latest information about MIPAN’2015.

You are invited to submit your abstract(s) in English to the forum (Qianxin Wang, wjianhuance@163.com) and specify in which of the following groups:
Group 1: Multisensor integrated kinematic positioning and navigation (sensor/system integration)
Group 2: Multisensor integrated kinematic positioning and navigation (methodology and algorithms)
Group 3: Indoor positioning and navigation
Group 4: Other positioning and navigation technologies (e.g. GNSS etc.)

Important Dates:

Deadline of abstract submission: May 05, 2015
Notification of abstract acceptance: May 30, 2015
